Anticipated Perfection? or…Answers in the Midst of Disappointment…

Rekindling here after much distraction called Life. 😉

Feeling the desire to share my thoughts in writing…those retired seniors I worked with weren’t kidding when they warned me of the busyness of retirement! But, it’s an enlightening time, a new feel, this ‘Après 60’ as one FB’er calls it.

Today I feel this, prompted by an article sent to me telling of one person’s withdrawal (including a fair sum of $ loss) from a ‘program’ based on the inappropriate involvement of the ‘guide’s’ ego during said program. The participant was aware enough to allow learning to take place, in spite of the initial feeling of loss of funds/experience/growth.

‘As it is’!

…I feel as Earthlings in this Life we tend to expect and hope for a certain level beyond our own, of capability and awareness and reliable behaviour from those in any position of care, teaching, ‘authority’, power to help/guide us. We put our faith or trust in another human being. We are, after all, I feel, here to help each other along the path. Sometimes these moments can leave us feeling disappointed, unattended to, even initially feeling cheated until we discover the learning provided within the experience. Perhaps in the midst of or as a part of, our response, we might allow wiggle room for these ‘teachers’ to be ‘human’ and ‘imperfect’, continuing on their own journey, perhaps still short of all-knowing, perfect. Another perhaps is the existence of God, the Universe, the Higher Power, The Divine that so many are willing to accept as ‘out there’ for us, and that ‘Power’ might solely possess the all-knowing perfection for which some yearn.

Do we strive to be that perfection ourselves or do we accept the level of awareness and consciousness we experience at this moment in time, trusting whatever enlightening aids are provided for us from that Source to bring us to new levels each and every day along the journey?

I used to take groups of seniors on day trips.  When I shared the day’s destination plans along with my excited anticipation of the events at our end point, they would tell me, “We’re quite happy to enjoy the sights and sounds along the way, as well! It’s all ‘The Day Trip’.” I’m guessing back then not one of them had ever seen the now familiar phrase, “It’s the journey, not the destination.” They simply lived it. Awareness and gratitude, moment-by-moment in this Life.

Wisdom, answers, guidance ~ all around us, awaiting our readiness and willingness, our openness to keep tap, tap, tapping into Life. Remembering, even when we’re open, that we each tap at different ready moments and into different chosen opportunities. We tap with different tools and by applying different levels of strength. Once tapped, The Tapped Tree of Life provides the nutrients we need.

Keep smiling, there’s so much goodness everywhere. Watch for those Unexpected Gifts, always!

I am so blessed. 💝🛐 On my knees with thanks…for it all.

~ BE WELL, LOVE WELL, and with thanks, BE LOVED ~
